Hunyadi János (フニャディ・ヤーノシュ Funyadi Yaanoshu) is a sub character and antagonist in the If Story arc. He is a knight and genius military general of the Kingdom of Hungary, similar to his real life counterpart. As a believer of Christianity, he was sent to Drasuvania by the Holy Office of Index to put an end to Verard, the Golden-Eyed Demon King's reign. He was able to corner the Drasuvania army and, subsequently, kill Verard with his military prowess, but in the end, all he got was Verard contempt toward a dog of Index.
